Positively the best pair of boots I've ever purchased, light weight, great grip for all kinds of hiking that I do, I'm getting ready to order another pair, I'll use these as casual shoes, they look awesome! Highly recommended!

Great, light weight hiking boot

The Asolo Grid Mid GV is an excellent hiking boot. I've always liked the quality and fit of Asolo boots, but I've steered away from them over the last few years as I the styles I had were too heavy and burly for what I wanted, and the only light weight boot I tried from them had lackluster grip. The Grid Mid GV solves both of those problems. I like the mid-height that gives the feeling of support for my ankles while still staying light weight and nimble and the grip is solid. I've taken them on some day hikes and they felt great right out of the box, only minimal time needed for breaking them in. The next test will be how they perform with the weight of a full overnight pack. I put true to size, though I'd say they run just a touch longer than other brands.

Used them for the first time this week and was very impressed! Loved comfort and lightness, even the look (thought they were going to be too flashy, maybe it was how good my feet felt : ) Looking forward to my first hike in them
