As the days grow shorter, most of our runs fall into low-light hours where being seen is key. The Asics Gel-Kayano 29 Lite-Show Running Shoe gives us all the features we love from the Kayano 29 with a highly reflective upper so we can feel safe stride after stride. The updated midsole uses FF BLAST Plus cushioning for a more energizing feel with each step while still keeping the shoe lightweight, while the LITETRUSS stability feature is strategically placed so our feet don't roll too far inwards as we stride along.

Total Comfort
Seriously! These the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn. I'm almost 67 and healthy but these oldish legs/feet deserve the nurturing these Gels provide. This is my third pair of Asics in the last couple of years and I'll never buy another brand.

Misfit sizing
Ordered 2 pairs of the kayano-29 of same size and style, yet the fitment is drastically different between the two.

Just the same as the last pair, but that's perfect
No surprises. These are my nth pair of gel kayanos, I stick to them religiously and they're super comfortable as usual. Running in the new pair the day after running in the old pair with 600km's on them makes the old/new difference obvious.

Love Asics
Size is perfect as always with Asics. Like walking on a cloud. Great arch support and feel. Big fan of all Asic shoes. Alway comfortable and I got them at a great price.

Great walking shoe
I’ve added 17# and 32# weighted vest 5k walks into my workout routine over the past 6 months. Originally I used my old ASICS running shoes for this but they were too soft and didn’t hold up to the pounding. So, I switched to these 29s with more foot support and firmness for an unbeatable shoe for this sort of workout. I expect this would also work for 15-30# backpack scenarios too. After after 90+ miles, these shoes still hold up and offer consistent stability, support and comfort.

Fit is great like Gt 2000 9’s. Don’t listen to the haters these shoes do what there advertised to do. Do your legs a favor and buy them

VEry satisfied
I read the reviews and dont understand why people are saying its different than the other Kayano 29s. I have been running with my Kayono 26 for a couple of years now and were the best running shoes for my specific stability needs. With a normal width foot, a slight over pronation, and knee pain when i run for periods over 12 minutes, I tried several competitors (All high end such as Hoka and Saucony), Nothing compares to the comfort of the Kayano. I even Have the Gt 2000 GTX for the rainy days. Even though the Gt are good but the Kayanos are better. 1. The stability fit adjusts my foot perfectly and keeps it like that for the duration of the time i am wearing the shoe. 2. The slightly arched up front tip of the shoe is a great feature to keep the foot arched the right way. 3. The cushioning is great for my knee pain. Please note that i do not expect these shoes to last forever, but they are quite durable. better than my adidas trail running shoes. but in all fairness, the usage of the trail running shoes is much more aggressive.

Cars see me at night!
I love the shoes. I walk at night and I’ve seen cars come too a dead stop when they see me. I would give this 5 stars if it weren’t for the shoe laces. They are sturdier than the cheap ones on the regular Gel Kayano 29 but they are flat and not round. They come loose and I’m constantly having to retie them. I’ve never had trouble with laces on any other company’s shoes… Anyway they feel great and my feet are always happy when the laces are in place. In the past I’ve had to use inserts in all of my shoes but the Gel Kayono shoes have everything I need built into them. Definitely the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn.

NOT a Kayano
I have purchased each new version on the Kayano’s for the past four years, including the kayano 29’s. Purchased the lite-show as thought they looked quite nice,, First thing to note these shoes do NOT have a heel lock hole for those who don’t like your feet moving around. Next, insole in left foot is misshaped, feels like insoles are both for right foot. Not a runners shoe, decoration piece only. Can not be worn for long periods as insole on left foot is misshapen. Shoe upper is a thick, foam material, not the same as on kayano 28’s or 29’s
