We hear the words "quiver killer" thrown around quite a bit these days, especially with the wide variety of hybrid-rocker profiles on the market. However, most of these supposed "quiver killers" actually excel in one given area, forfeiting performance in either deep powder or through the terrain park. Dispelling the notion that one board can't do it all, the Arbor Coda System Rocker is truly a one-board solution to shredding anything on the mountain. The key to the board's all-terrain prowess lies within its directional twin shape with Thunderhead tips. Thunderhead tips are distinctive, shovel-like tips that enhance float in deep snow, also providing a larger platform for snapping ollies and buttering around the mountain.
Loaded with The System Rocker profile, this board features a full parabolic rocker that's mellower toward the tip and tail for better edge contact with the snow. Full parabolic rocker instills a loose, catch-free feel for playing around the mountain with a freestyle feel. Think spinning off every side-hit, sending park kickers, and buttering without hesitation. Proving it's no one-trick pony, parabolic rocker also provides the effortless float usually reserved for a powder-specific board.
Balancing out the board's loose, uplifted profile, Arbor adds its signature Grip Tech sidecut to every board with The System Rocker for powerful edge hold and grip. This sidecut places two additional contact points right beside the binding zones. This effectively moves the turning interface directly underfoot for fluid edge-to-edge transitions, as well as a more natural carving feel.
Using only premium materials, the Coda System Rocker features a Double Barrel Core that's optimized for riding big-mountain lines, thanks to tip-to-tail bamboo struts. Bamboo struts add power and strength needed for high-speed riding, as well as plenty of snap for sending freestyle features. The distinctive Powerply bamboo topsheet acts as an extra layer of fiberglass, helping to smooth out the board's ride while adding snap. Other ride-enhancing features include Mixed Glassing for a smooth, responsive flex profile, as well as a sintered base for unmatched glide over a wide variety of snow conditions.
