Angler's Accessories Smith Creek Rig Keeper

Smith Creek Rig Keeper

Tying different combinations of dropper rigs takes time, so you'd might as well have your favorite combos tied up and ready to go with the Angler's Accessories Smith Creek Rig Keeper. Its thoughtful design allows multiple dry/dropper rigs to be attached and wrapped around the foam, so you don't end up with a big, tangled mess when you go to switch out flies.

Good Idea but....

Great idea for quickly swapping rigs out, however major kinks in the leader when wrapped around such a sharp angled edge. Better to use the round ones they offer, similar to a tippet spool; keeps the leader without out the bend and easier to straighten out.

I've used it several times

This thing is a game changer, when you have a good idea what to expect on the river why not spend that time setting yourself up for success the night before instead of on the river. You can only catch a fish if your fly is in the water. Keeps up to 8 set-ups.

Works Great

Bought this to replace a foam fly patch that years of use and travel abuse had about destroyed.Does double duty as a fly patch to securely hold flies to dry before finding a home back in your box and as a way to have pre-rigged multi-fly setups at hand. Works great.

Nothing fancy, but so convenient.

I've used it several times

This has solved my dropper conundrum. The question of whether to leave your droppers together with annoying pieces of tippet getting in the way or cutting them apart and wasting the time you spent putting them together has been answered. For such a simple design and construction, this thing sure comes in handy.

Nymph rig must

I've used it several times

If you like fishing a nymph rig this thing is pretty much essential. You'll cut down a ton of setup time on the river if you tie your nymph rigs before hand and wrap them around here. And honestly, who doesn't want to spend more time fishing when you're at the river. In my opinion, fully loaded, this holds 6 different setups.
