The Adidas Terrex AX4 Mid GTX Hiking Boots not only look great next to our black tights, but also impress with their weight and waterproofing. They mix the lightweight design of a trail running shoe with the support of a hiking shoe for those of us who like to speed down the trail. When we want to get out there in all weather, their GORE-TEX membranes are durably waterproof and breathable, and the Continental rubber outsoles give us grip in both dry and wet conditions.

Love these hiking shoes. Comfy and cute
Would totally recommend. Nice ankle support. Love that they aren’t just black.

Comfy out the box, light weight, grippy, look good
Laces not too long like most bouts but can’t wear with a thick sock due to narrow toe box.

It’s good shoe but not comfortable for hiking.
In general others had advised me to go with a brand that specializes in hiking. Adidas has beautiful designs but not comfortable for hiking

Running a ½ size small
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great shoes just running about a ½ size small and I can't exchange for the same pair because there are no more

Easy on, cozy, true to size—highly recommended!
Effortless to slip on, vibrant colors add flair. Excellent in keeping feet dry and cozy. Instant comfort, true to size. A must-have! Highly recommended.

Good if you want a firm shoe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I personally need a cushioned heel and i thought this was like the 2.0 free hiker that gives a bounce. It doesn’t give any spring just firm. Which is ok. Except for my tarsal tunnel. It didn’t take much to aggravate it. I will need to return these. However, they look well made and pretty color just no cushioning.

Blown away by these shoes.
These are highly versatile. You can dress these up with jeans or wear with a pair of joggers to go treking through the muck. These are surprising light and on the wider side of the spectrum (which suits me great). I have the Terrex Gortex Hikers which I have been wearing for several years now. Similar fit and feel, but these actually seem to have a better build. I had to get both the black and tan when they went on sale. My current pair probably have a few more years, so I will save a pair and wear one pair for casual dress in the interim. I would always prefer to be over prepared/geared than under geared. You never know when you may end up putting in 20+ miles on foot and it's always good to be in hikers if you do.
