Why We Like The Adidas Terrex AX4 Hiking Shoe
Yes, Adidas does trail shoes, too, and we like the Terrex AX4 Hiking Shoe for its weight and price point. It balances the weight of a trail running shoe with the support of a hiking shoe for a lightweight hiker that's best for fast-packers and day hikers. The Continental rubber outsoles also give us plenty of grip in the woods and mountains with climbing lugs up front and braking lugs in back for steeper trails. It's a lightweight hiking shoe that's also lighter on our pocketbook—what's not to like?!

Looks Great, Fit Feels Okay
Do not like how size 7.5 touches rubs my big toe but size 8 feels too big. I’m not sure if I’ll keep it but yeah the design is awesome.

Great purchase, excellent shoes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do a lot of trail walking/hiking and took these to hike the Inn to Inn hiking trail from Lisbon to Lagos. They were comfortable, supportive and got surprisingly decent traction in the slippery uphill rocky sections. I will definitely get another pair if these every wear out!

Roomy, Comfortable, and Stable Hiking Shoe.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having to wear an AFO brace on my right leg, the shoes gave me stability and comfort when walking rocky terrain hiking to Hickory Nut falls at Chimney Rock ,NC and in the Black mountains of NC.

Shoe runs small but wide & bulky.
Hurt my toe on 1 foot, too wide & orthopedic looking.

Really comfortable shoes!
I wasn't sure of the color of the shoes at first. However, when I got them I loved the color, they were brighter than in the pictures and I liked that. I purchased 1/5 a size up because of the comments saying they run small but fit a bit big on my feet. I usually wear 6.5 - 7. I purchased a 7 thinking they would still fit a bit tight but that was not the case, I'd say they do run a bit big. If you want a tight fit, maybe purchase your size but if you plan on having long walks/hikes with these, it's probably best to have that extra space for when your feet swell so probably you should size up half a size max. They are lightweight but the back is stiff and can cause you blisters. You should have a break-in period with these shoes before going on long walks. They are also very cushioned on the inner sole! And they are very wide, so if you have narrow feet maybe these won't be the best shoe for you. Overall, these are amazing shoes for hikes and walks. They look stylish and are pretty comfortable. The colors are adorable! I'm very pleased with my purchase.
