Stay swift, even when the rain falls.

Hike lightly in any condition with the Adidas Men's Terrex Swift R GTX Hiking Shoe. Gore-Tex Extended Comfort ensures waterproof protection in a highly breathable package for speedy hiking, and the mesh upper enhances ventilation in the summer's warm weather. Adidas reinforced the upper with ripstop and added a molded sockliner for long-lasting support and breathability. The AdiPrene insert uses EVA for cush and shock absorption, while the midfoot shank offers more support. Traxion rubber gives a good grip on slippery surfaces.

these shoes are just what I expected (and wanted)! I've been on a 10 mile hike with them and I could have gone 50...

Super great shoes for the price! Totally waterproof thanks to goretex. I poured water on it and stepped through puddles without anything coming through. I was comfortable from the get go and enjoyed the first weekend with these shoes blister free!
Obviously there is no ankle support but it makes it feel breathable even though it is completly waterproof!

I just got these. I freaking love them. They have great support to run on any trail or sharp rocky surface. The lugs on the sole are burly and are made of Continental Traxon rubber. I felt like a race car wearing these. The waterproofing seems to work well. I'll be taking these into the dessert in about a month to really get a good test. I'm stoked to use them on the trail!

Not what it used to be.

I have been buying this shoe model for many years. I am on my 4 or 5th pair. The first pair I bought was back when they offered different models for hot and cold uses. Mine were the 435 version. Ever since then the material quality, build and sole traction has declined.

These are very comfortable shoes, slightly warm with the goretext, and good for many trail hiking adventures. For most they are probably good-decent shoes, but where as I had to throw out my first pair due to wearing through the sole with hard class 4/5 trails and daily use for 2.5 year; my most recent pair will be thrown out due to the quick laces cutting the tongue of the shoe, the toe box blowing out, and sole wearing out in a year. Recent changes to the upper have deceased the shoes durability. The sole no longer has the extremely good wet and dry traction of the old continental rubber (I used to not think twice about my footing above huge rock faces and climbing boulders).

Overall I am sad. I want my old Terrex shoes back. They used to be the best trail shoe out there. Now I will likely be looking at other options for my next pair of shoes.

    Comfortable and Sturdy

Got this as a gift for my brother-in-law. He has hammertoe and has to wear extra cushy socks because they rub the top of the toe box but I would imagine anyone without hammetoe wouldn't have that issue. He wears them daily for work and as his regular shoe and says they are super comfy and sturdy.
