This is my third pair. Glad that Backcountry now carry the "Slim Fits". These pants are perfect for following my toddler around, to short hikes, and even a weekend backpacking trip. These are now my go to pants. Prior i was using some Arc'Teryx Pants. They were great, nice and stretchy, but they were not very stain resistant. These 686 pants are definitely stain resistant and durable. I wore these through a week-long trip in Hawaii and they faired pretty well against all types of weather out there. My only issue was these were a little warm at times. Fit is perfect for that slimmer profile. The legs are perfect for that athletic fit/look. The stretchyness is comfortable when you have to sit down after a big dinner without the button eating into your stomach. Dad bods rejoice!
