The best looking shoe, and so light!
4 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are crazy light, it's weird. But, that's definitely the point and a huge plus. they are lightweight, soft, and look really good. So good that I will actually clean these from time to time, unlike my other shoes. Not sure how I'll do that yet, but that are worth polishing up, so to speak.

I went true to size and they are just right. I'm usually a 9.0 and got the 9.0.

A little surprise that I had with this shoe is that it's good on the dry trail, even though it's a road shoe. I wore them, not thinking, and was nervous to go down the steep, loose dirt. Turns out, they have a ton of traction!

I wouldn't take them in muddy situations though. Maybe they are okay, but I don't dare risk it. The only issue I can find is that they will pick up the occasional rock. Not a big deal at all, but it's one complaint I can think of.

5 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 8"
Weight: 140 lbs

My customer loved this dress so much, she had to take time just to tell me. Here is her report.
Hi Emily,
I wanted to take a moment to let you know that even though only one item was kept out of the last two orders we did, I’m one happy customer ! Why? Bc that seemingly simple Taxco dress from Prana is a work horse!
It’s comfy and roomy for starters but it’s design means that it is a one and done
Case in point
This morning I taught a SUP yoga lesson from 7-8:30 am. I had to then load up all the equipment and drive the cargo trailer to a storage site and park it in time to make a 9am client meeting for my desk job. In the client parking lot I threw the dress on over my head ( btw the Nike Indy sports bra you sold me couple years ago was fine underneath) and stepped into some ballet flats. Walked into meeting at 9:02 am looking polished and calm
Thank you!

Light and Minimalist
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The design and weight on this is amazing. Very easy to set up and pack away.

I really appreciate that it tells you how strong the charge is, so you know when to change the position the panels. It charges 20% of my Venture battery in 1.5 hours of full sun. I do intend to buy more and daisy chain them , since you need quite a bit of solar to quickly charge. But, this size is perfect for backpacking and other endeavors where you need to keep the weight down.

Comfortable Carry!
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I got this duffel for my sister as a gift to use on her river trips. She love, love, loved how big it was! she could fit everything in there that she wanted. It held her tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and all of her clothes and toiletries.

She liked have the wet bag for her towel and swimming suit and also likes how very durable it is. This is not a waterproof bag because the zippers aren't waterproof, but it worked great on the river and kept everything dry. She does wish it had more pockets on the outside, but knows that it doesn't make sense for a duffel.

Sticky, comfy
4 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'll cut to the chase and talk about sizing, since that is the trickiest thing with climbing shoes. I got the size 9.0. I'm a hiking shoes size 9.0. Sometimes I'm a size 8.5, but usually a size 9.0 in hiking and running shoes.

I have been climbing in them for about a month. I have only been on plastic, so far. But, I've had Anasazi's before and their rubber is sticky, so I don't worry about their rock performance.

The fit is good. They are pretty comfortable out of the box, which is a plus but made me nervous about their performance. So far, I've been sure footed every time, so I'm very impressed! They aren't stretching, so I suggest fitting sizing them out of the box, and not with the intent to stretch. I did size up on my Rogues for multi-pitches but I wouldn't do that with these, as I want to use these for harder sport climbs and bouldering. Five Ten heels don't fit my narrow heel that well, but it's not a show stopper.

I do feel like they perform better than the regular Anasazi's, when it comes to edging. Nothing on this wall has really small feet, but they do edge well and stick to slopey feet holds. They aren't soft, but the have a responsive platform, which I use a lot. So, I'm happy I moved up to the pro.

Dream Boat
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

You have been dating everything and everyone for years now, and I have been with you through the ups and downs of it. There was that strong one that was so good at opening jars but, got winded flagging down a taxi. Then there was the one that would walk with you for miles, but refused to cross a stream or scamper over a small boulder along the way. Don't even get me started about the one that had to hold your hand to step off a curb.

Now we have this last one that is so competent and well rounded; kept a steady job, got the jars opened...eventually, loved a good 5K and was not afraid of short ladders. We all had such high-hopes for this one, but you are just a bit bored, aren't you? You are wanting a bit more, maybe even a lot more?

Well my friend, I finally found your dreamboat. This one will grind your morning smoothly with its bare hands then pour it delicately into a cup without spilling a drop, chase that bus down when you are late for a flight and still be smiling at the driver when she opens the door. Do not let those stiletto heels fool you. This dreamboat will carry you over every pothole, curb, and retaining wall you can throw at it, and set you down as gently as a feather, leaving you confident that your smoothie diet is working.

Seriously though, for a do-everything-very-well bike, look no further. This practically sends everything for me. The transition from a 27.5 took me a minute on the cornering, but was worth it.

So good, I am buying it twice.

This is simply just a perfect shirt. Comfortable, flows and fits nicely, and doesn't smell!! I need so many more, but happy to have one. Pair this with their Sprite bras and underwear and you will be the best looking and smelling person around the campfire!

Surprisingly Supportive
5 5

Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 8"
Weight: 140 lbs
Size Purchased: medium

Merino is great because it doesn't smell, so I have purchased one before for backpacking, but they have had zero support. This is the first merino sports bra that has given me any support. I'm so happy! It's clearly not for high impact, but it definitely was keeping things in place while hiking and running around the desert.

Get this bra!!

Fun and full of options!
4 5

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is a fun bag. Has tons of options, between the exterior day pack and all the top pockets. Very nice for organizing.

I was skeptical on the support system, but it's comfortable and easy to adjust, so that you get the weight where you want it.

I loved the huge hip belt pockets too. They will fit a big camera phone.

My son packed this himself, for the first time. So, it's a little wonky and top heavy. I'm pretty sure he kept the compression straps tight, while he stuffed the sleeping bag in, but I'm still a proud mom. ;) Also, the support is good and he didn't complain about the weight, Trust me, he definitely would have, if there was an issue.

4 stars since I don't know about durability yet.

Double wide
4 5

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This fit two double wide sleeping bags, so that's good news! It's all you will fit though, width-wise. But, that was plenty for us.

This is a fast and simple set up and really light. It doesn't come with a footprint, but most tents don't. We didn't use one, and just were careful about where we camped.

I just demoed this tent so I can't speak to the durability. But, as a Gearhead, I hear only good things from customers, so I trust it longevity and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

A dream...
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is so great. A backpackers dream! The foot pump is amazing and it's incredibly comfortable. You can kneel on it and well, my knees don't touch the ground. I got the wide since I'm a side sleeper and have never slept better!

If you have to count ounces, then get the Tensor. Otherwise, get this one!!

Front opening!
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

So, I'm bad about taking my Mammut mountaineering packs backpacking, But, they double as both so well, that I do all the time. You can see my Trion Pro in this photo as well.

This time I was worse and did a little canyoneering with them. This pack is definitely not meant for canyoneering, but it held up great!

It was also supported weight comfortably. We made this one the heaviest pack, and the wearer had zero complaints. Trust me, he would complain if there was an issue.

This is meant more for cold weather. So, the one issue I could see is that it doesn't breath as well as others. But, if you want one pack for your winter and summer pursuits, I wouldn't hesitate to sell you this one.

The Front opening is so nice! You don't see that as often anymore and we actually needed it.My Teenagers didn't understand why you'd have a zipper like that, until we needed it. I had put my wallet waaaay at the bottom. Luckily I put it in this pack because we just opened it up, found it, and zipped it closed. Easy Peasy!

I'm not sure how durable it is, but I've had my Trion on Pro for 5 years and it's perfect, so I'm going to give it 5 stars based on reputation.
