Gore-Tex Duratherm protection and heavy-duty support.

Alpine climbs mean steep, rough climbs and glacial traverses, and that calls for a warm, sturdy footwear like the Zamberlan Expert Pro GT RR Boot. The Gore-Tex Duratherm system layers a Gore-Tex membrane over Duratherm insulation to combine breathable, waterproof protection and total warmth even in extremely wet, cold conditions. The aggressive Vibram Teton sole holds you to the trail, and step-in crampon compatibility lets you quickly get into your spikes when it's time for glacier crossings or ice climbs. The Duraflex shank uses an integrated fiberglass and nylon insert to boost the support of the Carbon Flex midsole, while the Air System absorbs impact stress to reduce fatigue.

Durable Hydrobloc Leather repels the first onslaught of moisture and teams up with a full rubber rand to protect your feet while you're on the move. Zamberlan added a double tongue that can be adjusted to give you a custom fit, so if your foot is larger (or swells up after days on the trail), pull the inner tongue up until you get a perfect fit and secure it with the hook-and-loop attachment.
