The Legacy LTE is inspired by the numerous hand-sewn creations weve come upon throughout Alaska, it includes everything you love about our classic Legacy, in a lighter-weight, slimmer profile. The Legacy LTE features TUFDRY, our signature waterproof breathable membrane, along with a waterproof suede upper making this the ideal all-purpose winter and wet-weather boot.
The Legacy LTE offers all day comfort via a dual density open cell foam insert. The updated styling is a fresh take yet offers the same commercial grade performance as the classic Legacy Boot due to is slip-resistant non-marking Chevron outsole.

Great winter boots, only one complaint.
These boots are great for snow and cold conditions. I love them on my trip to Alaska. I only gave it 4 stars because they were a little tight across the top of my foot and I would have loved to have been able to adjust them right where the leather meets the rubber. Alas, I could not.

Runs small; size up if you can
I've had XtraTuf boots before and loved them. So I was really excited about these, but they run way too small. I'm normally a size 11 and my older size 11 XtraTufs fit just fine. But these felt like a size 9 or 9.5. They don't make sizes bigger than 11 so I had no option but to return and buy from another brand. I hope XtraTuf gets their sizing back on track or starts making larger women's sizes.

Disappointed
Disappointed with these really. Water proof yes, warm and slip resistant no. I'm outside all day in Maine, even in the Winter. These boots were sold as those things above. Very disappointed...sorry.

Winter boots
I bought these on a recommendation from a friend that had recently been to Alaska and she promised these wouldn’t disappoint me during my first winter in Wisconsin and she wasn’t wrong! These boots are comfortable, functional, and they go with everything!

Perfect for winter
I wore these boots all over Budapest, Vienna and Prague for the first time other than a little around the house to make sure I could stand them. They continued to be comfortable and very warm the entire trip, even on the snowy days in Europe.

Ice-proof
These may be my favorite winter boots ever! I’ve always loved the sole of Xtratuf boots and when I saw the tie up options I was thrilled. I wear these boots almost daily. They are comfortable, I feel safe on my feet in the ice and snow, and they look good! I ordered 1/2 size up to account for big warm socks.

Runs small..
It runs a half size too small, but overall, it is a very cute and sturdy boot. I normally wear an 8.5, and while these boots technically fit, they pinch around my big toe more than I would like. I will likely exchange for a size 9 but suggest other buyers order a half size up.

100% Waterproof and Cozy
I work in the PNW as an environmental outdoor educator. I'm outside about 8.5 hours in the much and woods, and when I pair these boots with waterproof bibs I feel indestructible. I love how they're a little bit more fitted around the ankle due to the laces. These would be 5 stars except I wore these sailing on a rainy day and was slipping all over the place and got so bruised up. They have the same bottoms as the other Xtratuff deck boots, so I think that is more of a reflection on quality of the slip-resistant bottoms of Xtratuff's shoes. These are great for tramping around the woods, though.

The perfect waterproof boot
I have 2 pairs of these in different colors, I love them so much. They’re sturdy and well made. As with most boots, I do use an insert for heel and arch support to make them perfect for daily wear.
