Why We Built The WHITESPACE 3L Performance 3-in-1 Sherpa Jacket

Legendary days at the mountain call for the legendary design of our WHITESPACE 3L Performance 3-in-1 Sherpa Jacket. We outfitted this versatile 3-in-1 jacket with all the features we could want for a day spent riding technical terrain. The stretchy outer shell is fully sealed for breathable waterproof protection against winter's worst, while the removable inner jacket delivers fleecy warmth. Whether temps are rising or plummeting, we can work any combination of these jackets together to meet the ever-changing conditions encountered in the alpine. Plus, we used recycled polyester for an added touch of eco-friendliness.

I got this for the discount priced at under $200. I bought it for a "do all" jacket when I got car camping and off-roading in my Land Cruiser. I wear it to work too, not while working but to work. It is meant to be my "beater" jacket. Used it for this all winter and it has worked well. Had it in a few rain storms and it kept me dry. The velcro at one of the wrists is already blown out the stitching holding it on but otherwise the jacket is holding up fine.

Bought this for a ski trip and got lots of compliments. The fit is great. I wear a size medium. Definitely love that I have this.

Absolutely DO NOT BUY

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Jacket looks sick, but is too small. The quality is terrible. I took a moderate fall and the jacket ripped in multiple places. Was not able to get a warranty claim through even though a high quality jacket should be able to last even from an impact. So now I'm out the money I spent on this on a ripped jacket that was only worn twice. Absolutely do not buy even though it looks cool, you will regret it.

Too small. Not for boarding

No snow skirt. Main zipper gets stuck at the bottom. No buttons/straps inside ends of sleeves to attach to outiside ends of sherpa jacket sleeves. None on the back either. No zipper vents. Lots of good pockets and inner pockets. Warm sherpa jacket. But not the price.

This is not for snowboard

This is not a board suit. There is no snow skirt. There is no ventilation either. There is no soft fabric on the area that touches the face. The length of the clothes is also short. It is also small in size. I love Shaun White, but I hate his brand.

Comfortable, flexibile, runs small

Very comfortable coat with good range of motion, but I'd definitely recommend buying a size up for your normal fit. My only complaint is that the fleece inner jacket sleeves easily comes out of the shell arms when taking the coat off... but that's just a small detail. I'd gladly get the coat a second time.

Marks all my boxes

I got this jacket on the day it dropped, and I was not disappointed at all. I got the Khaki color and it looks really clean, the jacket's color is slightly lighter than shown in the picture but is pretty accurate. The inner jacket is very comfortable and looks great on its own. I haven't taken it to the mountain yet, but its very warm even if you're just wearing the outer layer and it holds up to the waterproof rating. I am 6'2 and I got the XL, it fits well. A little long on the sleeves but that's how I like my jackets. If I have to find something negative about it, its that its hard to hang up on a hangar when the inner jacket is zipped in, I typically hang them separately. Otherwise I really enjoy it.
