The perfect ski for any condition.

When the mega storm everybody was buzzing about the day before ends up laying down three, maybe five inches, you'll just have to smile and nod while everyone whines about the chunder they've been bottom feeding on all morning, because your Whitedot Ranger R.108 Skis will make mincemeat out of crud and death cookies, while offering plenty of float to get up and surf those deeper deposits of pow. Sitting at 108mm underfoot and sporting a good amount of rocker, and a good amount of camber underfoot, the R.108 is a true all-mountain ski with the backbone to pulverize those bigger lines that like to hide in the alpine.

Like all Whitedot skis, the R.108 is made with a powerful, yet playful, blend of poplar in the tips and tails with ash underfoot for increased stability and better binding retention. A mixture of carbon/Kevlar stringers and a tri-axle fiberglass laminate give the ski a torsionally stiff feel and help eliminate chatter when you're slicing through all that chunder down under. A sandwich construction puts full-length ABS sidewalls along the length of the ski for a smooth and powerful feel when you're arcing turns down the frontside, while a dampening layer of rubber just above the edges only bolster the ski's solid nature when dealing with variable surface conditions. All this talk of stiffness and stability may make you think the R.108's going to force you in the backseat when that storm system does decide to dump, but with a wide 138mm shovel, wide waist, and rockered tip, the R.108 isn't going to leave you wanting a whole lot more on most powder days, and it'll still be fun to ski once everything in the resort is diced. And if you do decide to take it to the backcountry, a notched tail offers a solid and reliable skin attachment point.
