Nice looking but not the best qu
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- XL
- Height:
- 5' 7"
First the good, the color is really nice and the style is really nice. I love the hood and fact that it zips up covering my mouth. The hand pockets are warm but they seem a little low even though I have long arms. The coat and sleeves are pretty long and the zipper is great compared to many coats I?ve tried. I bought the coat a little bigger to fit layers but still a little small around the chest. The bad: Velcro and bad quality material. After a few days of regular daily wear to and from work, I noticed fuzziness on the right cuff. So I became more aware of the and avoided the velcro touching my sleeve, which is tough due to the chest pocket placement. But when I noticed their was damage on the chest and the sleeve got worse I decided to contact the support team and see if maybe I had a faulty jacket and did an exchange. But the second coat had the same problem even though I was very careful and even tried using a scarf to reduce friction. After about the same amount of wears, the replacement has the same issue. I thought Volcom was a good brand and I had one before that was better quality and didn?t have this problem, it could have something to do with the change in material. Also this coat is not for very cold days unless you have a lot of layers.

Too Small
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
- Size Bought:
- XL
Seems like a nice jacket and plenty long for me (I?m 6?1?). Sadly the fit is way too tight around the hips. I am normally a L or XL in other outdoor brands (Patagonia, TNF, etc) so I was really surprised that the XL was too small.

Runs big, size down
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- Small
- Height:
- 5' 3"
- Weight:
- 135
According to the size chart I was in between a medium & large. Both sizes were too big & I ended up with a small that fits great. Sleeves run a bit long, but the small was good for me. I?m 5? 3? 135 lbs. Great pockets & features. Will be perfect for boarding, but cute enough to wear out too. Love that it?s made from recycled materials.
