Great slipper
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 11.5
- Height:
- 6' 3"
- Weight:
- 240
Really great slipper and overall climbing shoe. Comfortable enough for trad and sticky enough for relatively hard bouldering. Used them on some overhung routes that and stuck to holds that only my dragos have stuck to before. Look elsewhere if you need to heel hook though. Sized .5 below my street shoe for a comfortable fit but can be fitted 1. - 1.5 for a more aggressive fit.

Best balance of performance and price
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- 9.5
I've worn it for over a month and I have to say this is my new favorite all-around shoe. I have low-volume feet and got a full size down (9.5) from my street shoe (10.5) and it is perfect after a week or so of breaking them in. It has a surprisingly soft sole and a super large toe patch for toe hooking. I've bat-hung on long indoor roof routes many times with confidence. However, it does have some flaws. It has a thick 4mm rand and there is almost no sensitivity at the toe. Not a dealbreaker for me but for some this is the case. Regardless, if you consider I got this for around 115$, I think the pros defintely outweight the cons. For comparison, it is basically priced like an LS finale. In conclusion, buy one before they raise the price!

Best mocc style shoe
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 44.5
I found my new casual trad/crack comfort shoe. Sized 1/2 size below street shoe size. Great for cracks and moderate trad routes. Rubber is sticky even on smooth basalt and plastic gym holds. Heel is surprisingly secure for a mocc style shoe. They appear to be quality. They are very soft/flexible so you better have strong feet if planning long days or a lot of edging.

Ruby slipper killer
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- 8
- Height:
- 5' 5"
- Weight:
- 130
I used to be in the ruby slipper cult like many of you, but I was disappointed when the manufacturer changed hands and the shoes weren't the same. After a period of lamentation and a couple resoles I set out to find a new slipper and find it I did. The Unparallel UpMoccs are everything my ruby slippers were and more. They are as comfortable as a climbing shoe can be with a great suction fit right out of the box ( I wear a street 8.5/9 and bought 8 moccs). Good sticky rubber that excels at smearing/scumming/hooking. No more baggy achilles' heel like the old red moccs and more rubber coverage on the forefoot for toe hooking and foot jamming. Sure you could have a more aggressive shoe for the steep or a stiffer shoe for micro edging but all in all a great shoe for multiple styles of climbing. Hopefully other slipper lovers will discover wonders of the UpMocc as well and they'll be available long into the future. I'm currently in the market for a new pair of lace ups and I know where I'm looking first.
