Why We Like The Union Atlas Snowboard Binding

Lighter, brighter, and harder-charging—we didn't know that Union would do it, but they upgraded the Atlas Snowboard Binding once again. These stacked snowboard bindings are already popular for their ultra-responsive and bombproof design. Not to mention a slew of high-end details like magnesium buckles, pressable straps, and quick-adjust forward lean. But with an updated Stage 14 highback, injected with carbon for low-weight damping and strength, these tough-as-nails bindings are Union-true.

Details

  • Stiff-flexing all-mountain binding for hard-charging every run

This binding charges! I've never had such a locked in feel with awesome response. This things feel great when powering in and out of turns and ripping side hits.

My go to all mountain binding. Great response while still being very comfortable. Straps don’t have any hot spots and the new ratchets work so well. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something more then the Force.

These bindings are my go to for powder days or if I’m trying to really get after it. Crank up the forward lean and the response is insane. I really like the new integrated FLAD wheel. Stiff enough for riding fast and hitting big features but not too stiff that you can’t play around at lower speeds too.

I like to ride the Atlas bindings on directional boards. The Atlas binding is best in high speed, and technical free rider conditions where turning on a dime is required. The new high back is more supportive than last year model. The new dial down forward lean is so clean and works well.
