Inspired by hardcore fly-fishing junkies and guides, the Umpqua Swiftwater Vest organizes and carries loads like no other vest on the market today. Its fully cushioned waist belt and padded shoulders straps eliminate neck fatigue and the forward creep created by heavy fly-box loads while mesh back and side panels keep you cool beneath the summer sun and hand-warmer pockets supply warmth on chilly mornings. The Swiftwater's one-size-fits-all shoulder and torso adjustments make for a comfortable, just-right fit while an arsenal of external and internal pockets serve all your fly fishing gear needs.



Fourteen external pockets, including two stretch-mesh tippet pockets, two large back pockets, and one large horizontal "reach-around" back pocket that's easily accessed from either side stash your fly boxes, tools, snacks, and other essentials. Six internal stretch-mesh accessory pockets, including four horizontal, cross-access floatant/desiccant pockets, help keep your gear organized and easy to get to. Umpqua also equipped the Swiftwater with two molded barbless fly rigging stations, eight coated web attachment loops/retractor stations with easy-grab hemo loops with a raised retainer sheath, a back D-ring and web loops for net attachment, and an internal key clip. Its front buckle closure even allows use without the zipper to help keep you cool during the summer months while YKK zippers with loop primary pulls and sticky, micro-textured secondary pulls make for easy access to your gear. The Swiftwater also integrates with the Surveyor 1100 backpack (sold separately).
