Taking two wheels into town for errands, or commuting to work, should be a breeze, not a drudgery session in managing sweat and on-bike comfort. Timbuk2's Madrone backpack is designed to fit clothes for the day, your laptop, and your body's curves.

Constructed with the same quality (think lifetime warranty) that you've come to know and love from Timbuk2, the Madrone keeps its more technical features under the radar. Its water-resistant bottom panel repels water from unexpected splashes, while the main panels are durable recycled PET material. The pack features a total capacity of 1343 cubic inches. Its one main compartment is roomy enough for a change of clothes and books, and a laptop slash pocket fits up to a 15" MacBook Pro. An under-flap zip pocket is lined with fleece for a scratch-free place to stow your sunglasses, and two side pockets hold water bottles. Finally, the front flap pocket is the ideal stash for your U-lock.

The Madrone is designed to fit a woman's frame — shorter torso, narrower shoulders, and wider hips. Adjustable straps hold the pack tight to your back so that it doesn't swing, and the molded back panels help to keep you ventilated and cushioned while you ride. Reflective accents are only visible when you need them. The pack also features swing-around side access to the main compartment.
