Bring it on Old Man Winter. At least that's what you'll be thinking when you're zipped into the fiery warmth of The North Face Women's Thermoball Duo Insulated Hooded Parka. Shedding moisture and resisting wear and tear, the jacket's nylon
ripstop shell offers a durable exterior for long-lasting wear. Additionally, it's
treated with a water-resistant finish at the shoulders, hood, and arms
to shed light snow from dampening your ski or shred session.
Keeping you toasty during winter's coldest temps, the jacket's torso is stuffed with two offset layers of ThermoBall insulation. This design eliminates common cold spots where insulation fails to trap heat. As if that's not enough, there's an additional 100 grams of PrimaLoft Silver Eco insulation within the shoulders and arms for added warmth.
So what's the fuss about ThermoBall insulation all about? Simply put, it efficiently insulates by mimicking down's heat-trapping, ball-like clusters. However, unlike goose down, Thermoball continues to insulate once moisture seeps in, acting as a heat-trapping savior in wet winter environments. In addition, its streamlined baffles keep you from looking or feeling like an oversized marshmallow on the slopes.
