Why We Like The North Face Summit Verbier GTX Jacket

When the skies open up over the mountains and the snow totals creep higher and higher, it's time to load up the car, throw on The North Face Summit Verbier GTX Jacket, and head to the slopes. The hard-wearing outer shell is perfect for days when the snow just keeps coming down, and we can't help but make the commute to the top over and over again. The stretch snow skirt allows us complete freedom of movement and protection as we slash and carve our way through the freshly fallen powder. The tough GORE-TEX 3L construction ensures that our baselayers stay dry to keep us warm and toasty. Eight total pockets offer plenty of storage to keep an extra pair of mittens, a few snacks for a quick pick-me-up, and a place to stash our goggles while we survey the terrain to find the most thrilling route down the mountain.

Loved the color pairing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only used once. No issues, happy with the look and fit. Did not get to test it in inclement weather yet. Price is steep, but hopefully it proves its worth

Great Features but..

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it
Size Bought:
M and L

Hi purchased to go with Northface goretex bibs. Liked the multi colors which brighten up the black bibs. Lots of pockets. Zippers were sticky, but I guess thats needed for waterproofing. .. and jacket is stiff likely due to goretex material. This would be great to keep me dry but requires layering for warmth and M felt a bit big. At this price point $$$ I wanted more boxes checked 5'7 small would have been too snug in hip area so returned.

Diverse and effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for changing temperatures, and so far it's amazing for the crazy Irish weather.. can't wait to test it out in Greenland in a few weeks and really put it to the rest on the windproofing and extreme weather by layering! Great roomy fit without looking too bulky!!
