An incredibly breathable shell!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this jacket for skiing. The jacket is a bit on the long side of things but it's ample fit leaves plenty of room for liberty of movement and layering. The Futurelight membrane is very breathable and has kept heavy rain on the outside, although the fabric did absorb water at the cuffs of the sleeves. The jacket has many great features. The large front pockets can hold quite a few items without looking bulky. The integrated powder skirt keeps the wind out and it's small plastic hook keeps everything in place with the assorted pants; I just hope it will last and not break. I love everything about it!

Amazing jacket, expensive

I’ve owned a similar albeit heavier Futurelight jacket before and this one did not disappoint. If you’re a skier or rider, you know what features to look for and this jacket has it all. It’s truly a backcountry jacket that is significantly lighter than most ski jackets, so don’t expect a “heavy duty” build. It does hold up to the elements very well, especially wind (tested) but I would be careful going into the trees or brushing up with rocks and such. Wide Velcro wrist straps are a big feature for me, that is great with this jacket. Overall, this is the best ski jacket I’ve ever owned and would recommend it 100% especially if you can get a deal on it. One more thing, size UP! I’m 6ft tall and an XL is perfect.

For sure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this coat. It is everything I expected. DWR is unreliable and the zipper is tough to zip up. Otherwise this jacket is exceptional, I love it.

Stay on all day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very breathable and comfortable for high-output touring. I am 5'11" and the Large is slightly big, but about right for fitting over layers on cold days. This is a jacket that can stay on all day.
