    Great Ski Pants!

    • Familiarity:I've used it several times
    • Fit:True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

I love these ski pants. I'm also a big fan of The North Face so I as not surprised that I was satisfied with this product. Fit true to size. Great to wear with a layer underneath for those colder days on the mountain. Zip pockets are great as well.

    Warm and Affordable

These are a great overall snow pant. Got these for my girl, she was very impressed with how warm they are. The black looks great! She has had no complaint says they are warm and look great on the slopes!

    First Timer

Cool gear that keeps you warm and dry during any task at hand. Whether its having fun skiing down the slopes or shoveling freshly laden snow piling up on the sidewalk. This is my first time around owning a pair of snow pants and found TNF Sally Pant to be a perfect fit, true to size. Totally enjoying using these whenever the need arises.

    Great for sub-zero skiing

    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

    • Size Bought: Small

I wore these on a ski trip to Canada with a pair of thermal running tights underneath. They were lightweight and comfortable in -14 conditions. Great at blocking wind and fit true to size.

    great snowboarding pants!

    • Familiarity:I've used it several times
    • Fit:True to size
    • Size Bought: small

I was looking to replace an existing pair of snowboarding pants that were warm, but very bulky. These are exactly what I was looking for: no rear pockets for snow to get into, high (but not uncomfortably so) waist that stays closed without a belt, and warmth in a lighter weight material. I wore these in the single digits and teens with one base layer pant underneath and was comfortable. Not sure on the sizing issue others have mentioned, but these fit me perfectly.

    Sizing review

    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Size Bought: S

I am 5'8" and 118 lbs and I ordered a S and XS/Long. the S are definitely wide in the leg and the waist is a tad large, so i thought the XS would fit perfectly. i was surprised, however, that i couldn't even come close to buttoning the XS pair. really big gap in sizing, if you ask me. i kept the S.

Big in some places, not in others

    • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
    • Fit:Runs large
    • Size Bought: small

I really wanted to love these pants. They seemed to be well made, the fabric was nice, but the fit was all wrong. I am 5'3" and 130 lbs and ordered a small. They fit well through the thighs but the waist was huge. The flare at the bottoms of the pants was also too much. I tried these on with my boots and the ankle gaiters were so loose, they wouldn't have done me any good.

    Brightest Pants on the Mountain

    • Familiarity:I've used it several times
    • Fit:True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

Seriously. On a day when you couldn't see 5 ft in front of you, because the snow was falling so thick, you could always find my pants! They are so bright! My only complaint is that I wore ski base layer pants under them, and the top button kept popping open, which is weird because they aren't super tight, it was just annoying. Otherwise, they are super warm, I've skied in 15F to 35F and they were comfortable in the whole range.

    Great color

    • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it

    • Size Bought: Large

I got the green and the color was just what I was expecting, sadly they were to big so I had to return. I ordered the large based off of other reviews but a medium would have worked better.

The fit is a little strange

    • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
    • Size Bought: Small Short

I really anticipated getting this item. The pants seemed really good out of the package. Typical North Face quality, which is very good, hence being one of my favorite brands. However, the fit is a little strange. I ordered a size small short (my typical NF pants size) as I'm 5'2 and 125 lbs. I read the reviews an looked at the size chart just to make sure that I was ordering the appropriate size, because ordering any typ of gear or clothing over the Internet is never an easy task. I tried them on immediately after I received them in the mail and was not a happy camper. The waist and rise of the pants were snug, not allowing any room for a base layer. The legs were so wide that it would have gotten in the way for any sport conducted while in use. This has never happened before with a North Face product. I decided to return these pants because reordering them in another size wouldn't have helped. Because Back Country does not have free returns (even when the sizing is off due to manufacturers defective sizing) I chose to send the package out paying my own shipping upfront the cheapest way possible. After all, this is only a returned item. It costed me $10.99 to ship it to Utah from New York. I am so disappointed in this purchase that I started looking elsewhere for a better item. I don't want to purchase my next item with Back Country because it's possible that I may have to make a return again and I don't want to get caught paying expensive return costs and still end up with no item.

FWIW, I also bought these pants and had the same sizing problems - too snug in the rise and waist, kinda wide in the legs. While I am not surprised about the waist (too many cookies for me), I have a relatively small behind and slim hips compared to most women. Pants are NEVER tight on my hips! Sizing is just off with these- surprising for NF.

    Perfect fit!

These pants fit great and I love that they are insulated so they keep me warm on cold boarding days. My only complaint is that they are not as black as they appear in the picture, they're more greyish maybe because the pants don't have a matte color, it's not a deep black. However, the fit is great so I decided to keep them.

Great pants but small for me

Great pants, exactly what I was looking for, however, I thought I was a small. I am 5'1 125lbs but with curves. Nothing crazy but I have shape. I am returning this for the Medium and hope it's not too big. It was tight in my butt/hip area, with no layers under. fyi I bought the Small SHORT

      Sadly Disappointed

I had ordered these same pants in a different color and had absolutely loved them and wore the same pair for 4 years, very durable! However as I got older and stopped growing (this year) I needed the size up. I ordered the light grey, an awesome color by the way that would match most everything, in the next size up and they arrived today. I am sad to say that they are nothing like the pair I bought 4 years ago. While they do fit around my waist, they are EXTREMELY baggy and from the middle of my thigh down. There's no way to even sugarcoat how unflattering these pants are. I am 5'9 and due to the baggy/bellbottomed style I appear 5'2. Rather than have a slimming effect as my old pair does, the new pair are just plain frumpy. I am just extremely disappointed in the fit and they were nothing like I expected them to be.

        Happy with these pants

        • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
        • Fit:Runs large
        • Size Bought: XL Long

The purple color is beautiful (bought to wear with a light grey jacket) and pants are well constructed. The legs are much wider than you would think based on pictures. I ordered XL Longs, and they fit well. (however, I am at my heaviest right now!) I'll be able to layer as needed. Pants only snap at waist and zip fly, no adjustments possible. Long Length will be good with my ski boots, but will drag in snow boots.

        Good pants!

        • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
        • Fit:True to size
        • Size Bought: XL

I have another pair of these, but needed black pair for uniform while skiing. I am nowhere near an XL size, probably would wear a M/L depending on the day, but I buy larger due to the fact that I like some extra room to move. The only thing these are missing is a waist cincher...which I sew in myself with some ripstop fabric and Velcro to make the waist adjustable. My lower 1/2 gets cold so the extra room gives me the ability to layer. The wind resistance on the pants is great and most of my co-skiing counterparts have a wet rear by the end of the day, I have never!

Runs large and VERY wide leg

        • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
        • Fit:Runs large
        • Size Bought: Medium

I am 5'0" and 120lb with 30" waist and 38" hips, so I ordered the medium size since that is where my measurements fit. The pants are huge one me, should have gotten a small. Also the leg is extremely wide, I feel like I am wearing jnco jeans. I bought these for hiking and I think I will trip if I try to walk in these as the legs are so huge. The leg opening is 9 inches in diameter and engulfs my small size 5 feet. It is an unflattering look too. I will return these, sad because it was a great price I just really really really hate the cut.

        Unanswered Question

Hi, the north face website says the inseam for "short" is 30 inches but the size chart here says the "short" inseam is 28. I was wondering if somebody can measure the product for me? I am looking at a size XS. Thanks!

Can I get these sent to New Zealand??

The North Face does not allow us to ship their products outside the US!

        I am 5'6" 130 pounds, should I get a small or a medium?

My daughter is 5'3 and about 100 lbs. I am debating between the girls size 14/16 and these but the girls reviews say they run super short. Will these fit her??

Hey hey! I am 25 inches around the waist with slighter wider hips at 34 inches slim build and 174cm tall. I am confused whether I should get these in small or medium. I am also wanting to wear a pair of thermal tights underneath if that helps. Pls Assist!!! Thanks heaps, Vee

Get them in small, that's the appropriate size, we'll one inch xtra, if you like a snug fit, you might wanna try xtra small that's if you like it snug, also if you do have long legs then get a 32inseam, unless you know 30inseam will be good. other sizes are avail on north face main site.
