Why We Like The Rolling Thunder 30in Rolling Gear Bag

The North Face built its Rolling Thunder 30in Gear Bag tough so we can travel with it for a long, long time. Bomber Base Camp materials work with the plastic bumpers in order to keep wear-and-tear to a minimum while we're navigating cobblestone streets or catching a flight in a teeny jungle airport. The zippered external compartment stores dirty clothes and shoes so our clean clothes don't get ruined and the zippered external pockets are perfect for items we might need at a moment's notice like your passport or phone charger. The internal mesh pockets split the main compartment for better organization, and the sherpa strap connects to backpacks and duffel bags for extra convenience.

My go to bag anywhere I travel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I take a couple of international trips each year with my family and this is always the first bag or sometimes the only bag we take. Rugged wheels and bottom frame can take a beating. Being a duffle it doesn't take up too much space when not in use but can get packed out too. We always hang other bags off the lash points and store our luggage scale in the easy-access top pockets. Definitely recommend!

I would buy this bag again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excelent bag for classic travels or adventures, high capacity and flexible to haul a lot of gear. Well protected from the elements and easy to roll for every almost surface, even better than four wheel bag

A must! And a more convinient luggage than a traditional one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice and sturdy. Huge capacity. Better than a traditional hard luggage. After the trip, you can fold it up to 1/3 of the original size.

I would buy this bag again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this product as a checked bag for airline travel. The bag is well built and does double duty as a luggage cart for my carry - on and personal bag. The handle is great, and the wheels are good. Two areas of improvement are the edges of the hard plastic need to be re-enforced they are little too flexible. The second area is the empty weight of the luggage is a little high. At nearly 12 pounds empty it uses 24% of the allowed weight for most domestic airlines. Otherwise, I am quite happy with this bag.

My favorite travel bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have e travelled across the country twice since buying the Rolling Thunder 30" by plane and have done a few road trips with it as well. It has performed very well and has held up to the abuse of travel. I wish it came in black, but at least it is easy to spot at the airport.

Indestructible Bags

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my fourth piece of North Face rolling luggage, and they continue to impress. I needed something a bit smaller than my 36", so we opted to get the Rolling Thunder 30" in yellow, which is just so fun. These bags are virtually indestructible. Can't recommend them enough!

Not worth the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a few trips this bag looks like it's about to bust.. for the price point I'd defiantly go with something else

Great for hauling around gear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well built and perfect size to pack in gear for a longer trip. The yellow gets marked up, but I appreciate the worn look. Inside and outside pockets help organize everything. Typical, heavy duty build quality of TNF bags. Great bag.
