Just ok

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Jacket is bit underwhelming in terms of the quality of the materials used for the price.

Warm as a but in a rug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the warmth, and I was given a warranty gift card when my hem failed in my last north face (different jacket model)

Warm, well-fitting jacket but poor quality cuffs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The jacket fits well, is warm and waterproof. My one issue is that the cuffs on the sleeves are shedding fibers after a few uses. Quite disappointing given the price point.

Nice jacket but a downgrade from previous models

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The jacket fits very well, it's very warm and very lightweight. The major drawback is the selection of some materials. The flap that protects the front zipper has 4 Velcro straps (not micro Velcro which would have been fine) which catch on all winter clothing and sweaters, ruining them. Not only that, but it also ruins the cuffs of the jacket, which are made of a very delicate elastic that easily catches on any material, causing holes. Previous versions of the jacket had buttons instead of Velcro, so they didn't catch on anything, offering better durability. I recommend using buttons, magnets, or micro Velcro for future iterations of the jacket. The side pockets have rigid zippers that can scratch the hands. It is also recommended to use buttons or magnets in this area, as in previous models. The connection of the hood fur to the jacket is also of inferior quality compared to previous models. Overall, it's a nice jacket but it ages in just two weeks of use due to the Velcro selection. The design seems inferior to previous models, with its price considerably higher. I do not recommend it.

The Absolute Best!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My absolute most favorite winter coat I've ever had! The North Face's McMurdo Bomber is incredibly soft and super warm! Layering isn't needed for everyday use with this baby, a t-shirt is all you need! It's so comfortable, I just cannot say enough good things about it!!

Not Warm Don't Buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would not buy this again. I bought one in 2018, was the warmest jacket. But bought one in 2022. The down is recycled down. The zippers get stuck. The hood is not detachable. It's just not a warm jacket anymore for north east winters. I wear a leather jacket under it and it's still cold. It's really sad I feel the company is sacrificing quality for profit, per usual. I will have to find an alternative. Really sad I bought this again. Will never buy another jacket from them, so will research other out door outfitters who actually use better materials. You can feel the difference between the 2018 and 2022 jackets, the 2018 had better materials, detachable hood, real down that was not recycled. It feels heavier. Anyways inflation, costs rising. But just make a better product, charge more north face! We will pay for a warm coat!

I would buy this jacket again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is really warmest, I like it. So I don't need to wear vest anymore to add it.
