Fiery warmth for cold climates.
From alpine expeditions to winter wilderness retreats, The North Face Inferno 15 Degree ProDown Sleeping Bag wraps you in a cozy cocoon of wondrous warmth during frigid evenings. 800-fill ProDown traps precious body heat with its high-loft down clusters, keeping you from shivering on cold nights in the backcountry. This down insulation packs down incredibly efficiently, taking up less space in your pack than a comparable synthetic bag. Trapezoidal side baffles keep down clusters from migrating to ensure longevity when you're putting it to the test on grueling expeditions and weekend trips alike.
Shedding outside moisture from morning condensation and damp sleeping surfaces, the bag's NeoVent Air fabric along the hood, footbox, and back acts as a protective safeguard for the down's heat-trapping loft. The full draft collar and hood cinch tightly to keep cool air from working inside and chilling your core. Additionally, the 1/2-length center zipper and footbox zipper maximize comfort through widely variable winter and shoulder season conditions. And because it's meant for cold-weather camping, its generous cut allows you to layer underneath on those super-icy evenings.

I would buy it 100 times
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm an international guide currently leaving in Bishop, CA. From my trips down in Patagonia all the way up to Alaska I would take my inferno sleeping bag to anywhere. Depending where I'm guiding or climbing I would choose a different category of the inferno. With the new technology that the north face is using I recommend this sleeping to anyone who is into mountaineering stuff.
