Amazing when they worked

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Had these for less than a year before they started to fail. One battery ended up going dead and one glove’s button got stuck in the ON position. Loved them when they worked but sadly defective. Reached out to Northface for a warranty replacement and got a gift card because they were discontinued. Great concept but failed execution.

I can't fully express my dissapointment

The gloves barely get warm indoors. As soon as you go outdoors, what little heat there was dissipates within 5 min, and that was at -14C. No heat after that.

Not powerful. Battery life too short

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I was hoping that the North Face brand would field a superior product but I was disappointed. The gloves are built well although bulky. They could use longer cuffs and a more secure latch or carabiner to keep them together. The major issue was the heating system and battery life. Using the gloves in 5-10 degree F weather and even at full power they didnt keep my hands very warm and lagged. Also, at a mix of mostly mid-power with some high power, the gloves are completely out of power in less than 4 hours. They cant support a full day of skiing or outdoor activities.

I would of the upgraded the outer leather

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great gloves. Kinda cheap with the Pleather instead of real leather.
