Perfect Alpine bag
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- L/XL
- Height:
- 5' 10"

100% recommend this bag. Super solid frame stays, excellent materials and construction, and just the right features. Stripped down, it's a perfect. And the frame will actually support 50 lbs. Unlike many bags out there, these frame stays are burly (unbendable). They actually work, and the load lifters and the hip belt also actually work. Perfect for mountaineering size loads. And then bag strips down very nicely and is an excellent summit pack. Quick note: the back length is adjusted by moving the hip belt up or down (took me a minute to figure this out). One thing I'd change: replace the waist buckles with aftermarket buckles. The ones that come on the pack can't be used without the padded waist belt.
