Here's what others have to say...

Comfortable Layering

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift, but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size

As the other reviews suggest, the pocket starts to detach from the garment if you dry it at too high of a temperature. So you may want to consider drying this piece at a low heat or just hang dry it. Other than this small issue, this is a great layering piece that I bought for my father as a gift. He loves it! Its comfortable, insulates fine, wicks moisture, and breaths well too. What else could you ask for in a layering piece?... other than a pocket that stays on after a tumble dry...hehe

Tough to beat

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

Found this gem for a great price on S&C. I have a very slender frame and it can be difficult to find gear that fits snug. This shirt does a great job as a base layer on cold days or a top on moderately chilly days.

As for the pocket issue - it's not sewn on. As the tag says, "tumble dry low or hang dry." I suspect those who are losing the pocket are running it through the dryer on a high setting. Hang drying it rather than putting it through the dryer should keep the pocket on. This material will dry quickly so it's a non-issue.

Chest pocket fell off within a week.

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

The product itself it great, the material is soft and comfortable but within the week the chest pocket completely fell off. I literally mean FELL off as the glue that attached it to the main body just let go. If it was well... more than a week of use I could have seen this happening but once the pocket fell off the glue isn't something you can simply not recognize or scratch off.

Nice base layer or light athletic top

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

Looks good on me (I bought the green version with tan panels) and adds just a bit of warmth with a snug, stretchy, athletic fit. I have not pushed the ventilation limits for this piece, but as the fabric seems similar to other garments I've worn I would expect it to perform well.

Great but lost the pocket

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This shirt is a great base layer or outer layer for cold days. Keeps me warm on short and long trail runs without overheating, looks sharp, and zips down far enough to show off my chest hair... erm... I mean keep me ventilated.

Would be five stars, but after about ten runs and washes, the pocket on the front started to peel up, and after another few washes, it was loose enough that I could easily pull it off with my fingers. It was held on with some sort of adhesive? looks like I might be able to iron it back down, but until I get around to it, I've got a great base layer that I wish had a pocket in it.

Excellent, stylish, midlayer

Paired with a base layer and a down jacket, I was comfortable into the teens. The material is excellent for wicking away moisture and is good enough to withstand temperatures in the 50's with just a base layer and no shell. I also was very comfortable in -10 with a base layer, Columbia fleece, and Patagonia down sweater jacket. As for fit and looks, I love this piece. I highly recommend it.

Best Base Layer

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift, but have feedback to share

The composite zip is lightweight, but insular. Great for all weather, very easy to move in, breathable and adjustable for lots of different uses. Spent a week wearing it skiing and running in the cold mountains.

Also, the fit is true to size (got a L and I am 6', 170 lbs).

Wicks great

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This shirt is really nice. It's comfortable against the skin, and the long zip is nice for when you need to vent a bit extra.

Awesome baselayer!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This baselayer is perfect to wear up skiing! The medium fits me perfectly at 5'11, 160 lbs. Definitely worth picking up at this price. Stitching and quality are awesome. I still have my similar model from last year that I use all the time, and the durability is incredible after all I've put it through!

Can't say enough good things about this shirt. Great quality and fit. It is perfect for running on cooler days. It keeps you warm and still allows you to breath.

This is in comparison to the Stoic Large Microlith soft shell. Still bought the large, it's a little smaller as you can see but I love the way it feels and fits. Once again, I'm 6' 170.

And the size chart is located where???

was my go to shirt for 7 days in Montana and still didn't smell. Great big zipper for showing off the ol' chest as well.
