Plenty of skiers prefer to hunker down in their chateau with a glass of hot chocolate and a roaring fire while the blizzard pounds against the windowpanes, but where's the fun in that? Skiing's best when it's snowy, cold, and deep, and the Spyder Vyper Men's Jacket lives for the most rugged conditions, deepest days, and biggest lines, so you don't have to huddle up inside when you'd rather be out gettin' after it.

By combining a super-waterproof and highly breathable Xt.L three-layer membrane with 3M Thinsulate insulation, the Vyper will keep the snow off your back and the chill out of your bones so you can rip through winter's gnarliest storms and ride out the blusteriest lift rides. All the seams are taped and the fabric is also outfitted with a Spylon+ DWR treatment for near-perfect waterproofing, and the removable hood is also designed to interface seamlessly with helmets for a stormproof fit. Down below, a removable powder skirt prevents snow from creeping down into your skivvies, and stretchy internal thumbhole cuffs form a snug seal around your wrists to complete your suit of shred armor.

That's not all the Vyper has to offer. If the storm abates and the sun starts to pop, the underarm zippers allow you dump heat and stay comfortable. All the external pockets are finished with waterproof zippers so your trail maps won't get soggy, and the internal stashes provide perfect spots for your goggles when they're not on your dome. Spyder also tossed in a goggle chamois to keep your lenses spotless, and finished the Vyper off with gusseted cuffs and a drawcord hem to give you a final seal against the storm.
