SmartWool's slim-fitting PhD SmartLoft Divide Women's jacket uses a combination of technical fabrics to mark the line between front and back, keeping you sheathed in silky soft warmth without bulking you up like a pro wrestler.
The front presents a tripartite face against cold. Quilted nylon face fabric resists wind and water due to DWR finish, while the 100% merino wool lining feels sweet against your skin without causing you to cook like a pig in a blanekt. In between, SmartLoft insulation keeps you warm even if you get a little wet. This proprietary mixture of merino wool and polyester give you the lightweight thermoregulation of wool and the water-resistance of synthetic materials for long-lasting comfort when you're skate-skiing up an incline or barreling down some single-track on a chilly fall day.
The sleeves and back are made from MerinoMax, a fluid combination of merino wool and elastane, giving you stretchy warmth and a streamlined profile. The arm-skimming sleeves terminate in thumbholes for additional wrist-warming coverage.
