Skin it to win it.

Racing rando isn't for the faint of heart or those easily offended by the nickname weight weenie. You're neither, and that's why you're salivating over the Ski Trab Gara Aero World Cup Ski. This lightweight ski is anything but meek when it comes to screaming straight up the mountain. Rip and roll your skins, take off for the descent, and be ready to hike again while the rest of the pack is just barely getting skinless. Even if you're not racing and simply heading out for a tour when the avy danger dips and bluebird skies prevail, you'll appreciate this ski's barely-there feeling as you set the route to snow-bound perfection.

The Attivo Progressive profile takes traditional camber and tweaks for maximum uphill performance and delicious descents. Though blasting through three feet of fresh pow will be a challenge on this plank given that it's only 64mm underfoot, crushing turns on crust or corn correlates to unadulterated elation. Cap Piuma Quadraxial construction uses a pure carbon fiber skin to contain the Differential Aramid Honeycomb core so each ski weighs well below 2 pounds and remains torsionally terrific.  Despite weighing less than your breakfast burrito, these skis won't be skittish on snow.

Proprietary Duo Tech design splits the tail in half without changing the camber silhouette. The splayed tail works in conjunction with Trab World Cup skins and gives turn initiation the same easy feeling power steering gave to parallel parking. Microcrystalline steel edges hold tight to the frozen world beneath your feet and dampen crusty chatter so you're not spending tomorrow getting fillings replaced. Whether you're trying to beat an age-group record at Breckenridge's 5-Peaks bruiser or leading a dawn patrol tour, this featherweight ski lets you enjoy the hike up and ride down, and have energy to spare.
