G3 Guide Boot
Whether you’re an industry professional or simply aspire to spend that many days on the water, the Simms Men's G3 Guide Boot is the footwear your wader-clad foot needs this season. As you move, the RiverTread platform reduces the underfoot rigidity compared to a typical boot, allowing your proprioception to keep you in balance on trails and river beds. The TPU-molded heel clip locks in the fit for moving through currents and cruising down a trail, while the EVA midsole absorbs the impact of each step. Comfort is paramount for a day on the water, so Simms partially lined the G3 Guide with neoprene for insulation and cushioning. For the environmental steward, Simms used CleanStream techniques—less exposed stitching and non-absorbent materials—on this boot to reduce the likelihood of transferring invasive species as you move from place to place.

VERY Comfortable—highly recommend!
These boots are very comfortable—I think they’re the best wading boots I’ve ever owned, and I’ve purchased a lot of wading boots over the years.

Great support and structure. Follow Simms sizing.
Dec 2023 on the Mo. Too windy for my poor fly fishing skills, so I was helping youngest with egg sacs. Boots are awesome. Follow the Simms sizing. I'm a 9 in street shoes and ordered 10s. Run with wool socks and heated socks on top and still have a little room. I had a cheap K brand boot before and these are so much better. So much more support and structure. Especially if you have a hike to get to your spot. So glad I got these on sale. If they have your size, just buy them.

Mountain Goat Traction
Great product. Simms comes through again. I will continue to buy quality. The boots fit perfect and the traction is like a mountain goat.

Great boots
Love my new boots, they fit great and feel great, haven't had them in the water yet, but will be soon. Got size 12 because of my waiters.

Durable boot, comfortable
Solid boots. Laces suck as usual. But the boot was the best I've had so far from Simms. 120 plus days a year in them. The original insoles collected sand and were sewn in. But Simms quickly replaced them, and now I can take them out, and clear the sand. So I love these boots.

Acceptable tread depth.
I purchased these boots because they had a good combination of price and aggressive sole. While the lug sole is deeper than most other wader boots out there, I would prefer it to be a bit more aggressive for my use in mud bottom marshes. I wear a size 11 shoe and the size 12 wader boot was perfect for me.
