PrimaLoft is renowned for making the best synthetic insulation in the world, but it also makes fabric, and Sherpa Adventure Gear used PrimaLoft Silver Performance yarns to weave the Vayu Men's Crew Top. Silver Performance combines PrimaLoft yarns, which are even finer and softer than cashmere, with merino wool to create a baselayer that manages moisture incredibly efficiently—it dries 20% faster than pure merino but maintains wool's wonderful ability to regulate temperature and fight off odor. Sherpa also constructed the Vayu with chafe-reducing flatlock seams and optimized the shoulder seams for comfort under pack straps, so your shoulders aren't rubbed raw after a few miles under a heavy load.
