Larry Bertleman's fast, slashing surf style is credited as the inspiration for the first layback boardslides, and the Sector 9 Bert Longboard is a tribute to that boundary-breaking innovator. Built with a vertically laminated multicolor maple core sandwiched between maple top and bottom plys, it's a solid, stiff deck with a true longboard feel designed for smooth planing on asphalt and concrete. Flat from nose to tail, it rides on Gullwing Charger trucks, Sector 9 Top Shelf wheels, and ABEC 5 bearings for sidewalk cruising, fast street shredding, or flying down hills.
