You don't have to sell your soul to be the best skier on the mountain; just click into the Scott Black Majic Ski and let their seemingly supernatural powers take over from there. With an early rise tip, camber underfoot, and a sidecut that drastically improves edge-hold while giving the ski an easy-pivoting feel, it's easy to see why some might consider the Black Majic's easy skiing ways as nothing short of mystifying, but let us reveal the Black Majic's secrets for you, so you can go ahead and let everyone know how sick they are when they're asking about them on the chairlift.
The Black Majic's profile and sidecut shine on-piste thanks to traditional camber underfoot and an early rise tip that makes turn initiation a breeze. Their sandwich construction consists of a full-length wood core with sheets of titanal above and below to keep the ski stiff and stable at speed. Featuring Scott's 3Dimension sidecut, the shape of the Black Majics consist of two tip and tail radii with a flat section underfoot for improved stability and pivoting—this also helps direct more power to the edges for better edge control and power when you're carving down the frontside. A narrow 78mm waist switches from edge to edge with little to no effort and will easily handle everything from East Coast ice to Sierra cement.
