The climb begins right when you leave the door.
Why wear shoes that exhaust your foot on the approach when the Scarpa Women's Crux Canvas Shoe brings you to the bottom of your route ready to send? Its upper provides just the right amount of warmth in the cooler temperatures of fall and spring when the climbing is excellent, and it remains breathable so your foot doesn't swelter up halfway up the hike. The lacing begins at the toe to give this shoe a snug fit you appreciate over technical terrain. And a Vibram Vertical Approach sole gives you the sticky friction you need to head up over slippery surfaces with confident traction.
The polyester mesh upper, the synthetic leather, the laces, and the lining are all made with recycled materials, so you give back to the planet you love to play on. A microporous EVA midsole cushions your foot for an extended time when you're bounding over boulders, hiking long distances, and walking over rocky ridges. The rubber toe rand protects the shoe from scuffing up when your approach starts getting more vertical than horizontal. Kevlar reinforces the forefoot for long-lasting durability.
