Great feel, great look, POOR PERFORMANCE

I really like the fit of the Salomon Specture. They hug my feet without being to tight and no slip and sliding after putting 25 miles on them. However their performance is not great. Everytime I run in them. It feels like my 1st run in a month! It's ike I'm running in sand and my shins and calfs are on fire and heavy! My hips hurt after every run in these shoes. Now in the market for new shoes!

It's comfortable
I got it on a discount so it's really worth the price. It's good for everyday walk. Not for wet environments.

Great if you’re on your feet all day
I wear mine for over 10 every day. They are one of the only shoes that don’t cause me foot, leg, and hip pain.

Solomon makes great shoes. These are no different
I got the black ones. They are sharp looking. I have tried many pairs as I recover from some foot ailments and these give me the arch support I need will providing overall comfort too. I have other pairs of Solomon shoes and they all provide a bit different response. These are probably more in line with a more cushioned step and I so I'd probably compare this one more to the now popular Hoka's. If you don't like the look of Hoka's, you might want to look at these to give you a similar step response.

Poor communication and tracking
I ordered a pair of shoes in November and everything went smoothly. Got the shoe within 2 weeks. Placed another order and still havent received it in 3 weeks. Called them and they can't find my order even though I have the order number and can see it on their website. They have to escalate to try and find my order even though they charged me for the shoe. This should not be happening.
