S PRO ALPHA W

My foot measures 10” long, 100mm wide. I’m typically a 24.5 across manufacturers. I skied the 24.5 for two short shifts and had a hard time feeling anything due to the tightness that never eased up. I sized up to 25.5 and I am impressed. This boot is responsive and has a great forward flex for steeps and long shifts patrolling. If you’re an intermediate looking to advance or already an expert, this boot performs. It’s snug, but comfortable and warm. I use disposable toe warmers when it’s less than 28 degrees and still love the fit & feel of this boot. No

Shell softens fast!

I bought the old version of these (S/Pro 110 w) two years ago and they've probably had 60 days on them total. They now need to be replaced because the plastic has lost all stiffness and is probably flexing like a 70 flex boot. I'm not sure if that's due to the materials, the form, or my skiing, but either way it's super disappointing.

Most comfortable performance boot

I have nothing but praise for this boot. I skied first to last chair for 5 days straight on this boot right out of the box and they were amazing! I ski aggressively and it handled it all from steeps to bumps to knee deep fresh powder in the trees. Hands down the most comfortable performance boot I've ever had. Extremely precise and fantastic power transfer.

Finally, a powerful women's boot that rips.

"I can't speak highly enough about the Salomon S/Pro Alpha 110W boots. Simply, they rip. Salomon moved the two lower buckles back a bit in this boot and it made a huge difference; my heel actually does feel locked in place with zero movement. Merge that with its low profile design and ample toe box which keeps blood flowing to my inevitable cold toes, the S/Pro Alpha 110W fits like a glove. I ski with custom liners so I can’t speak to the fit of the Alpha’s factory liners, but the snugness and performance of the shell is unmatched. Even with custom liners and Booster straps my foot usually moves around more than I want, but not in these boots. The S/Pro Alpha 110W is stiff and responsive. It can take the power you put into it, and it wants you to do so; it flexes just enough when you need it and pushes back when need the support. Chase the pros down groomers and through variable conditions like a champ, and when it comes to buttery powder, this boot’s glove-like fit responds exactly how you want it to. I'm based in Lake Tahoe and mainly ski Palisades, though I was able to bring these on a Utah trip this year as well. I highly recommend this boot for any women looking for a ski boot that matches their strength and aggressive ski style."

S/Pro Alpha 110 W

This boot had a great out of the box fit for my narrow foot. I would also say that the power transfer I experienced was phenomenal and I enjoyed the aggressive forward lean in the boot.

Comfortable and Responsive!

I was able to use this boot for most of the Spring season, and am extremely impressed with the comfort and control I felt. I usually have to tweak my boots quite a bit for my feet to not go numb after a couple hours skiing. Although the S/Pro Alpha has the ability to make endless adjustments through heat molding/stretching of plastic, I found that just after one session of cooking them, they are even more comfortable than my prior boots. I am extremely pleased with the precision and control I feel skiing these. Best boot I've had!

Incredible Ski Boot

I could rave for hours about the excellence of the Salomon S/Pro Alpha 110W ski boot. It's honestly the most comfortable and responsive boot I've ever skied. I have pretty sensitive feet, so getting new ski boots is a BIG DEAL for me, and I dread the break-in period. Well, let me just start with the fact that I experienced zero discomfort on DAY ONE after following proper setup instructions. It felt like I had been skiing in those boots for half a season on my first day. Just a few days in, I skied bell-to-bell on a powder day, and the same thing — pure bliss on my feet and toes, something I haven't quite experienced with any ski boot. Now let's talk about the functionality and stiffness of the boot. I'm a pretty technical skier, so sidestepping and boot packing was a breeze in these babies, and it felt good. I felt there was the right amount of stiffness for me to lay down some turns on a groomer day and charge on a powder day. I even recommend keeping these boots on for a beer or two; that's how great they are. =)
