Power Lock Pro lacing provides the feel of traditional lacing, but with a speedlace pull closure that allows you to quickly tighten or loosen your boots. The Power frame makes the Malamute Salomon's stiffest boot for the response and support you need for charging hair-raising spines and panic-inducing couloirs. Heat-moldable foam in the Power liner provides a comfy custom fit, and removable ankle inserts provide extra support so you can remove one or both to create your own customized flex pattern.

The Conform'able footbed is pre-shaped to evenly distribute pressure and provide stability. Dual-density EVA in the Spring outsole keeps it lightweight and allows it to flex where you want it, while rubber side stabilizers add stiffness on the outside for better response and improved traction. Finally, exclusive to the Malamute is an adjustable internal heel strap that locks your liner to the boot sole for a precise power link and better support.
