Why We Like The Salewa Pedroc Air Hiking Shoe
For fast hikes in warm temps, we turn to the Salewa Pedroc Air Hiking Shoe. This speedy option is highly breathable with a knitted mesh upper keeping our feet cool through the miles, and boasts a protective TPU rand to add defense against unexpected trail debris. The 3F system with resistant KEVLAR cable bolsters serious support and stability where we want it, while the Pomoca Speed Hiker outsole helps us grip it and rip it over loose, dusty terrain with confidence.

Something just not right for my foot
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- 11.5
They do run a bit small. Once I got the right size I just couldn’t get used to the insole. I’ve added superfeet insoles and that helps. I love the look. The feel is better… still don’t know if these will just be casual use vs. hikers for me.

Awesome trail runners!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 9.5
- Weight:

These fit great straight off the shelf. No blisters/hot spots running a few miles in them the next day. They held up great doing 55 miles of hiking in GTNP and Glacier over a week. Breathe super well and dry quickly. Very sticky rubber! I would say they run slightly narrow, but I have normal (not skinny, not wide) feet and it's perfectly snug. No real complaints! Will update if anything comes up.
