Rossignol brings us playful, progressive, and full-send capabilities in the 2024 XV Sashimi LG Splitboard. With more fish than its short-and-wide sibling, the Sushi, the Sashimi offers 11 more centimeters of length and a more nimble waist to make it our go-to choice to bring into narrow chutes and sketchy drops. The long rockered nose still delivers on float and flow, and camber from the front foot to the tail keeps us stable through highs-speed descents and icy climbs. A mid-stiff flex delivers the ideal amount of response for tricky situations, and Rossignol's Reverse Directional flex is softer toward the tail to simplify maneuvers for a more playful ride down. When we want an energy-filled ride that takes us to dreamy new terrain beyond the lifts, we serve up the Sashimi.

Rossi Split Bliss
The Sashimi really is the best mix between the XV and the Sushi, blending pillow factory pow slashing goodness with a responsive flex that allows you to rip top to bottom back country dream lines.

Great board! Durability may be an issue.
I bought this at the beginning of the season, it floats like a dream in pow, lightweight and tours nicely (although it is a bit wider so sometimes doesn’t fit in skier skin tracks) and pleasantly surprised with how well it carves on groomers at the resort (probably due to the camber profile in the rear of the board). However, I have used it about 6 times and the top sheet is already starting to show major signs of wear. I am not hard on it by any means so it is a little disappointing.
