Reach for the Ride Buckwild Wide Snowboard when you're ready for untamed freestyle fun, no matter if you're tearing apart the park and unleashing mayhem on the mountain. Designed with a wider shape, this board alleviates annoying toe drag for big-footed riders turning quickly down the mountain. Centered for total switch savagery, the Buckwild loves noting more than throwing cab spins off jumps and stomping switch landings. Its fun-loving flex serves up plentiful response for gunning down the mountain at higher speeds, yet it's still quite playful when you're going barbaric on rails, boxes, and other freestyle features.
Designed with a Twin Rocker profile, the Buckwild is totally flat throughout its running length, with a subtle rocker at the nose and tail to alleviate edge catches on boxes, rails, and freestyle features. The predominately flat profile keeps the board extremely stable at speed, helping to alleviate any squirreliness or chatter you'd find with many twin-shaped park boards. It also makes the board easier to stomp landings without "looping out," should you find yourself in the back seat on bigger landings. Additionally, the micro tip and tail rocker help the board plane through powder, making it float well for a twin-shaped board.
Ride equips its high-end offerings with a hefty dose of tech, and the Buckwild is no different, with its Pop Rods 2.0 core smoothing-out the ride and enhancing snap. This urethane slime core dampens high-speed vibration, making the board exceptionally smooth at high speeds. It's wrapped with flat carbon rods to enhance liveliness and overall snap, all without making the board overly rigid and stiff. Carbon Array 3 laminates amplify energy transmission to the tip and tail contacts for near-telepathic response. As if that's not enough, Ride uses urethane Slimewalls for the smoothest ride possible across widely varying conditions and freestyle features, such as boxes and rails. Add in a thicker Cleave Edge for a bombproof edge that's tailored to rail and park addicts, as well as a Fusion 4000 base that's blistering fast for clearing the biggest jumps in the park.
