Can you say the bomb.com! These babies are water tight and leave you able to move like a yoga instructor gone manic. I am 6' and 180 lbs and the medium fit is oh so nice. I was on the river last weekend in the blowing snow and took a couple of bad spills boulder hopping icy rocks, and the sonics were sound, not to mention they helped put me on the big browns! I was surprised at the abuse they took without even showing signs of mis-steps. The fit is snug when layered up(wore a capaline layer, fishing shirt, fleece and a sofshell under the waiters), but felt no restriction in movement. The reinforced knees and butt are key for the true adventure seeker. If you are rock hopping on the river and are not scared to jump that barbed wire fence, then look no further - these are the digs for you. I am super psyched on the Sonic!!!
Will you be getting and Medium-Long sizes...

Great waders. Good maneuverability and definitely keep the water out. I've stood in water a little over waste high for over an hour and come out as dry as I went in. The seems are great because you don't have to worry about the stitching allowing water through, and the fit is great. I am 5'8" and 150 lbs. and the medium fit me perfectly. I don't like restriction so they do have a little room to move around if someones a little bigger than me.

Agreed! Fortunately they were free and my only polarized glasses. But you bet I got new ones as soon as I could!

This is my third pair of waders and, by far, the very best. They fit well, are very light in weight and the accompanying felt pants provide all the warmth needed in a cold stream. With a little care, they should last me long enough to make the higher price worth it.
The perfect gift

So I got these for my brother, He absolutely loves them. Says they are bomb proof! Only complaint was the sizing. He got an XL based off the size chart. When actually we could have gotten a L even though he is a size 13 boot.
Otherwise super stoked

These waders are bomber. I'm pretty tough on my gear, and needed a pair of waders that I didn't have to worry about when climbing over logs, or through bushes, etc., and these were just the ticket. The 5 layer nylon around the legs and seat, plus the sonic welded seams gives me all the confidence I need to get to the perfect spot without worrying about what I have to go through getting there.
I'm 6'2" and 190 lbs and the Medium Long fits me perfectly. I have plenty of room for extra layers, but not so much that I don't feel secure when wading, or look like I've put on an extra 40lbs after securing the wading belt.
At half the price of anything similar from Patagucci and the rest, and 10 times more durable, you can't go wrong. Who needs Merino Wool lined booties anyhow?
I will say, if there's two things I'd improve here, it'd be the gravel guard boot clip (just way too hard to secure to my boots...tho' doable with a little elbow grease) and a loop or clip on the back to attach my net. Other than that, these waders have it alldurability, comfort, storage, and the right price.
Get after it son!

I have been guiding in these for the past year, and have used many different brands of waders, these are the most durable breathable and reliable waders! Love them
Best ones yet.

The Redington Sonic-pro waders are the best bang for your buck. They run true to size with the right amount of extra room for layering on those colder days. I have put these waders through some nasty things and they held up, and kept me dry. They breath well keeping you dry and comfortable in all weather. The wader suspender can be removed and the waders converted to pants by rolling down the chest.
Bottom Line: they're comfortable and durable.
