Original Kit

Ready to fish out of the box, the Redington Original Kits offer two versatile combos to get us hooked on fly fishing. Each combo includes a 9-foot, medium-fast action Redington fly rod that's matched with the appropriate Crosswater reel, RIO Mainstream fly line, and RIO Powerflex leader. That eliminates all our big decisions—except for which fly to use—and sets us up with a well-matched kit that's geared towards novices and the average fly angler. Choose between the 5-weight Freshwater kit for trout, bass, and panfish or the 8-weight All Water kit for bigger flies and bigger fish like salmon, bass, pike, and redfish.
