Red used a versatile, multi-sport design to let you use the Trace Helmet for snowboarding in the winter and skateboarding in the summer. When the snow melts and you turn your attention to the concrete, remove the Trace Helmet's goggle clip and ear pads and take your rail skills to the skate park. Full-time ventilation lets air flow for quick cooling in any season. Nice helmet, but not Five Star

I got this helmet for its simple and low profile look. It's good quality and is pretty warm for the most part. The issues I have had with it, are the ear-flaps constantly falling out of place mid run/especially after any downward force for landings and also the helmet clip for goggles is really flimsy and doesn't do much (but I guess that doesn't matter for those wearing their goggles inside their helmet). All in all, a good helmet, especially for the price, but I wouldn't buy it again.

burton customer service department, they are really good with little replacment parts like that, usually give em to you for free

Great helmet, protection is great pritty much saved my life today, also this helmet looks amazing and is great with my oakely crowbars goggles.

The clip has a little place to slide in underneath the back of the head padding, and stays in very well. The helmet is very comfortable, but the only downside is the earpieces are not the thickest so if you are in cold conditions, your earls become cold, but they are removable so you can use a beanie underneath.
