The Included Videos helped me a lot
Returned the aluminum and luckily was able to replace it with the carbon fiber.

Reviews? Nah! Umm, well ... This is genius!
Usually, I do not write reviews. When a product meets the expectations ... fine; if not … send it back. Reviews? That's for others. But what if a product is a) a work of genius, b) engineered to the max and the tiniest detail and c) just beautifully designed and crafted? Well, then I'll have to tell the world! Here we go: this piece of carbon fibre and aluminium is just perfect and worth every single penny. Its compact dimensions, solid stance, thoughtful features, and seamless integration into the peak design product line are spot-on, and it is actually the tripod I was searching for. It is a bit of an investment, but I'm happy I made that move! You've got one happy customer in Germany! Apologies for my basic English skills … ;o)

Well designed tool
After decades away from a photography business of weddings snd portraits (film), I am new to the mirrorless cameras and now retirement travel! This carbon fiber travel tripod is pretty to the eye and gull of surprises in use and features! The video explains how to used the many features in a funny yet informative manor. I use an L bracket (RRS) and after removing the small stabilizer posts I was very pleased with the speed of camera attachment and stability of the camera with even large zoom Z lenses! Great product at a very lightweight form factor and feel ready to travel with this baby!

Best Travel Tripod without a doubt
Bought the carbon fiber travel tripod from Peak after having to buy an extra seat on a flight to the bush in Kenya. I was tired of lugging my titanium tripod and ball head mount! Selected the Peak Design Carbon fiber tripod and am delighted I can eliminate the heavy ball head mount as well! This is a great product and I recommend to all the traveling landscape photographers out there.

Carbon, Getting my use out of it.
With it's price point. It is delightfully designed and versatile to use. I was surprised at first because of the build quality. Then worried because it felt flimsy with the legs out and one leg not holding its weight when I tested upon unboxing but it was easily adjusted to be tightened. I carry minimal gear, so weight and quality of product is greatly appreciated.

Indeed Travel Tripod
It's one of the lightest tripods I have ever used. There is no dead space, so it can shrink down to the smallest size possible. Every mechanic was well thought out, and although it might look overpriced at first, with the lifetime warranty it is justified.

Lite, Versatile and Quick
I had a different carbon fiber tripod that was very versatile but took a long time to setup. The PD Carbon Fiber tripod is excellent, it sets up in seconds and is extremely versatile without much reconfiguration.

So good and so compact
Can't believe how well designed and useful this tripod is for its size. It has quickly become my go to tripod for most anything just because it's so easy to use and can do almost anything
