Heavier fabrice than before

I know its a trade off between being cooler and being more protected, but I can certainly hope for the perfect super light hoody that blocks all the suns rays. This one feels heavier, and when you're the water its more clingy than their previous ones

Works like A Charm

I've had one of these for several years now, and have worn it practically to death = just kidding! The fabric is a little heavier than Patagonia's Capilene Cool; but it still functions perfectly in sun and heat. I think flats fishermen would especially like it; all fishermen, actually, as a little added protection from rays reflecting off the water. I dinged it one star because when you deploy the button under your chin, the hood hem on either side gaps a little bit. Some people might not exactly like that discrepancy; but it doesn't faze me and doesn't detract from the overall appearance of the garment. In summation, if you want a sun hoody that's a tad "heavier" than Capilene Cool, this one's the ticket!
