The Patagonia Men's Stretch Wavefarer 20in Walk Short transitions from sea to skyline without skipping a beat. Chino styling handsomely disguises its coastal heritage on casual work days in the city. Hand and rear pockets offer functional storage for daily essentials, complete with mesh pocket bags for quick drainage after hitting the beach.
It's made from a lightweight four-way stretch material, with a DWR finish rapidly accelerating drying once you leave the water. This quick-drying fabric allows you to hit the beach in the early morning, then transition to grabbing lunch downtown without dripping all over. Another summer-friendly feature, UPF 50+ sun protection shields you from scorching UV rays when you're hanging on the beach and commuting through the city.

The stitching blew out on the rear end after the fourth time I wore these shorts. Very surprised by the poor stitching from Patagonia, definitely not the quality you would expect. They were nice before the stitching failed, it was definitely a defect. I ordered a size up so they were definitely not to small. Also, the pockets pull back so you can see the mesh liner, not a great look. I have a pic but Backcountry site not allowing upload. Go look at the reviews of this product on Patagonia site, multiple 1 star reviews about the blown out stitching!
