I love this!
So soft and warm, doesn't block the wind but with a shell over the top I am cozy and warm.
i usually order an XS in Patagonia tops. I am 5'7" 118 lbs with a 34 A bust, this I bought in a small as I needed a bit more room through the shoulders and the sleeves were a tad short on me.
It stays soft and looking new through countless washings.

Your information about the sizing is SO HELPFUL! I only tried this fleece on once and can't remember which size I was. We are pretty much the same size, so this helps a ton!

Personally I don't consider this a technical piece compared to other fleeces I own, but this one looks damn good (got the dark blue/purple color) and does the job as a casual everyday fleece. Very soft inside and out. I wish the soft plush material lined the kangaroo pouch pocket. The pouch is my favorite part. I throw everything in there. The stand-up collar is awesome because it always stands up even when unbuttoned, unlike some collars that fold over like a polo shirt collar. One tiny gripe is that sleeve cuff isn't the stretchiest, so it feels a little tight when pulling the sleeves up. Got the XS and it fits relaxed, not tight and fitted and the collar buttoned up is just right without feeling like its choking me. Another awesome thing about this is that it comes in pretty much every color of the rainbow (not all on backcountry.com, but check out the patagonia website). Might go for the hooded one next.

I received this jacket for Christmas and absolutely LOVE it! It is so soft and so warm! I wear it as often as possible. I have only washed it once since I've had it, but it looked perfect when I removed it from the dryer! I like that it's recyclable and made by methods that respect the environment! GREAT jacket, highly recommend!

People must have led hard lives 20 years ago in winter, when the state of the art fleece technology was the plain old Polartec 200 or 300 weight fleece - the flat faced, "once you wash it it would pill", and not-at-all-warm fleece. The re-tool snap T on the other hand is extremely soft (don't worry about washing, it'll get softer, just don't machine dry it), extremely warm (due to the long snuggly fiber), and looks really good on. I set the room temp to 69 and just wear a t-shirt and I'm warm. It's the only fleece I need for winter. Love the kangaroo pocket - good for warming up hands, but not so good for layering under another jacket.

I have 2 of these, and wear them throughout the winter. After 2 seasons of hard wear, they look still quite new, other than the fleece bands at the cuffs. Sure other brands have their equivalent (e.g., Mountain Hardwear Monkey Women), but these look casual enough that doesn't sport the "look at me" look. Get these for the cold months.
