    Quintessential comfort.

When it comes to comfort, the Patagonia Women's Re-Tool Snap-T Fleece Pullover is queen. This luxurious pullover knows a thing or two about plush coziness thanks to its high-pile Polartec Thermal Pro fleece, which retains serious warmth—without the bulk. Additionally, the fabric is bluesign certified and touts a partially recycled construction, while the stand-up collar features a double layer of fleece, making it a formidable adversary against bitter winter chills. A four-snap front placket offers a customizable look, and the kangaroo-inspired handwarmer pocket provides warm respite for chilled hands. Not to mention, the princess seams assure a finished, effortless look that's equally at home on your couch as it is at the corner coffee shop.

Order a size up from your normal size

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Size Bought: M and exchanged for L

After looking at the sizing chart, I originally ordered a medium. However, I am 5'10", 140lbs, and 34B. The sleeves and length were short and I didn't feel like I could layer under it. I returned it for a large and it's much better. However, way more roomier in the stomach area than I would like, especially for it being advertised as a slim fit. I'm ok with it since I like my sweatshirts to be roomy. And if I ever get pregnant, I can wear it for awhile with a belly, I guess!!! LOL. Overall, super soft and comfy. I will look for more colors on sale in the future.

    Lady loves it

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size

I bought this for my girlfriend and she literally wears it ever day! Classic fleece that never goes out of style, very soft and fits great.

Not a great fit for me

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: small

I am 5'6'', and 130#. I am a SM-MED in most shirts, with outerwear leaning toward Mediums.
Having already owned a Patagonia Better Sweater Jacket and Pullover in Small, I figured the same size would fly in the Snap-T. Both have a trim fit ,after all. Unfortunately, the Snap-T is a bit shorter in the trunk than the Better Sweater. And although the fit was not UNflattering, I wanted a tad more room in the shoulders. Anything bigger than a snug fit tee underneath would not work. So I tried the Medium. :( Way too big in the waist and just too oversized in general. For me, the Small is too small and the Medium too big.
I will say that I appreciate the length in the arms in the Patagonia Small. Unfortunately, the trim fit just doesn't work for me.
Lastly, a note on the material: I expected the fabric to be super soft, like a North Face fleece I used to own about 6-7y ago. It feels like a traditional fleece, and the darker fabrics look cheap (if that makes sense).

    Flattering fit!!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XL

I kept reading reviews that stated it was a slim fit which is true, but being a size 14-16 the fit is flattering and feels great. I will layer with a short or long sleeve tshirt and will be warm and comfortable. This will go great with jeans, sweats or even shorts come spring. Very versatile and my new go to piece for the outdoors.

    LOVE IT

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Medium

I am 5'1 and 110lbs and got this as a gift in size small. I loved it but it was too short and hugged me at my hips weird. (it didn't cover my butt and rested just above it) I decided to return it for a size Medium and I couldn't be happier! I looks like it fits me perfect now and I can wear it with leggings. Its soooo warm and soft. So happy I returned for a medium. I recommend sizing up if you want a more comfy laid back look.

    Super Comfortable and Great Quality

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size

Got this as a Christmas gift for my younger sister and she wore it everyday on the trip! Fits true to size and is incredibly soft and comfortable. If you have questions about sizing or colors on this feel free to reach out!

    Great Product

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

I am very happy with this jacket, I gave it as a gift to my mother!

Typical of Patagonia, made from very high material fabric. It's surprisingly warm for the thickness and the collar's good against the wind without giving the feeling of being too tight or restrictive.
    Overall a very nice jacket.

Here are my moms dimensions (i'm guessing)- so for weight and height please don't quote me

    Won't Fade

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: large

My retool snap t is my second jacket I bought from patagonia, and I couldn't be happier with it. The jacket is ultra soft, and has an awesome kangaroo style pocket (runs through the jacket). I got This in a Lime Green color, and love that it hasn't faded through any of my adventures or washing.
Pros: super soft, large pocket, great colors
    Cons: sheds

    So Amazing.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small

This sweater is perfect. When I finally bought if for myself I ripped it out of the package, put it on, slept in it and wore it all the next day. Yes, it's that comfortable. The sweater is also very warm and cozy, perfect for the freezing winter. I bought a size small after trying it on at a store, the x-small would have fit if I wanted something tighter but I've always been a fan of a little extra room. All around this is the perfect sweater, I just wish they had more colors.

    Not as warm as expected

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small

Definitely a very cozy pullover, but it wasn't as warm as I had hoped, especially for the price. I have a similar pullover by Mountain Hardwear that is much warmer and less expensive. I can feel wind coming through the Patagonia. Still nice but not as good as the price suggests.

    Very Cozy

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

Product fit is true to size. The re-tool is so comfortable and is very cozy to wear. The pockets are great to hold phone and keys when you are out and about. I love to wear this up to the ski hill or even just around the house. It is a perfect all purpose pullover.
The harvest blue moon color is slightly more purple than pictured.
The sweater is a great durable sweater for all occasions and its lifetime warranty is an added bonus!

    Comfiest Sweater

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

I love this sweater.. I'm actually wearing it right now! So comfy and the jewel-toned color is beautiful.

    The softest sweater!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: large

I love this fleece sweater. It's very warm and the material is very plush and soft. The fit is flattering, and it fits as a mid layer under my ski jacket for colder days

    WON.DER.FUL.

After reading other reviews, ordered up a size for a comfy fit. Pullover was for my 14-year-old daughter. In middle school, with no time to visit locker, she has to carry all her belongs with her. Instead of a heavy coat, she wears this pullover. It's warm enough for outside but not too hot to have to shed indoors. I've borrowed it and loved it as well! The kangaroo pocket it nice. This piece also seems more 'breathable' than many of our other fleece pullovers. The only downside is that my teen doesn't like to share; now I need one of my own!

I'm wondering whether I should size up or down; I am 5'9 and weigh 160 and usually wear a size 10. I normally don't like to have my jackets too tight and that is why I am torn between a medium or large

Aqua stone/Beryl Green Cross-Dye: Which color is the aqua stone -- the overall main color? -- and is the trim the Beryl Green Cross-dye or what? Please tell me which is which. Thanks

    Hey there,

So the "x-dye" denotation is referring to both dyes being mixed into the fabric. So the outcome of mixing Aqua Stone with Beryl Green is a lighter Beryl like you see here. The original Beryl looks like this:

    is this pullover lined?

Like Adora said, it is not lined. I agree with her comment it is incredibly cozy for that reason (not wind proof though). I've always wondered why with other fuzzy fleeces they line it (like the Patagonia Retro pieces) because I would rather have the fuzzy cozy material on the interior!

How purple is that color? It looks almost greyish. Thanks.

    Hey Julianne,

It's definitely purple, and is more muted than the sheen in our photos might suggest. It's kind of a 'heather', with some white flecks in the mix that lighten up the overall color. Hope that makes sense-- if not give me a call!
