    Are you Down With It?

The Patagonia Women's Down With It Parka digs warm times in cold cities. Traceable Down gives the jacket a toasty feel with lightweight loft, and you can trace the jacket's down back to birds that were never force-fed or live-plucked. Another eco-conscious feature is the recycled polyester shell, and Patagonia treated the shell with DWR for snow-shedding resistance against water. The Down With It also features a removable hood for brisk but sunny weather.

    Best Winter Coat!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

I purchased this coat at the beginning of the winter after being displeased with a similar coat of a different brand. I cannot say enough things about this coat! It is super warm, very true to size, and as figure flattering as a winter coat can be!

    Warm and cozy jacket!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

This is a great warm around town jacket. For those of us who live in the mountains with cold weather most of the year, this jacket keeps you warm while out and about. The down is insulating while not being terribly puffy and big. The cut is slimming and flattering. Zippered and lined pockets keep hands warm and small items secure while zipped up. The hood is functional and fits well allowing you to see what's going on while wearing it. Overall it's a must have winter piece.

    great jacket

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: large

I received my Patagonia pebble gray jacket today and it fits perfect. I purchased the large. I am 5'6 and 150 lbs. My arm length is 33" and this jacket fits perfect in the arms and back and all around with a small exception on my chest area. I am a size 38 and a full C cup. On my chest its a little snug but I think I can handle it. An Extra large would be to big. This jacket does not make me look fat. It's flattering. Hope this helps girlfriend.

    Very puffy

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: medium

I bought the pebble grey coat. I LOVED the color. It is super warm and comfortable. I think it's a perfect size. However, I returned it because 1 - it's super puffy and not flattering and 2 - I was afraid of it getting dirty quickly.

    Figure flattering and Warm

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small

This coat is warm but not heavy/bulky. Fits true to size and figure flattering. I'm short (5'1") and it's true knee length on me. I've been wearing it in the sub-zero wind chill days in Chicago and I'm so glad I have it!

    Perfect warm winter coat!

I've been looking for a coat and tried on coat after coat, store after store and my hair was a giant static mess each time. This brand has the longer arms so I don't end up w/short sleeves when I reach out or up, I am not long armed by any means, 5'8 130 lbs but every coat I wore besides TNF Thunder and Osito jacket always falls short in the sleeves. I have also been having a hard time finding a coat that is actually warm. This coat solves all my problems and while it is a bit long, it keeps me warm in below freezing temps with even colder windchills, my hands were freezing but that's it. I have noticed that if I go to get into the truck and my jacket is zipped there is a slight restriction of movement, needs additional give at the bottom, but there are also snaps if that becomes an issue. It was between this and the downtown both are great, but this one allows me to wear a sweatshirt or my osito jacket underneath which I love to layer because I'm cold everywhere I go. Now if I could only figure out how to get rid of the static... other than that-love love love this jacket. Watch for sales but it's worth the money! Very pleased.

Is this coat actually knee length? I am 5'6.

I want to exchange my Patagonia coat for another style - do I have to pay shipping charges to send my coat back?

does this coat have interior wrist cuffs to seal out the cold?

No it doesn't. The cuffs are just plain, sewed like a tee-shirt cuff and no elastics or anything so I suppose cold air could get in (it's not wide open, at least on me, so I'm not too worried about that but I don't have the smallest wrists nor skinny arms!).
